If there is one core area with pioneering status and system expertise at PKT, then it is micro injection moulding. PKT has technologies and capabilities that are used in many product developements, regardless of the industry. Increasing miniaturization and the sustainable use of raw materials as well as the requirements for highest precision are of enormous importance.

  • CAD with 3D design system, direct CAM output of designs and automatic transfer of machined mould elements to associated drawings
  • Mold flow analysis for injection moulding simulation prior to mould design and construction
  • High-precision Sarix 3D micro EDM milling machine for the smallest components, high-precision contours and ultra-fine geometries in the µm range
  • In-house toolmaking includes an Exeron MP7/5 HSC milling center; a modern 5-axis milling machine with linear direct drive; an Erowa ERC 80 robot and a Zeiss Contura 7/7/6 gantry measuring machine with scanning technology, for the highest workpiece quality
  • Real “reverse-engineering” with the ability to directly correct CAD or STL data to create or rework injection moulds
  • Over 70 injection moulding machines some of which are fully electric, for parts and shot weights of less than 0.001g
  • Material pre-drying, laminar flow boxes, micro-injection modules, removal devices and six-axis robots, cavity separation and packaging adapted to micro-injection moulding
  • In-house industrial computer tomography for 3D part measurement, for comprehensive quality assurance
