Tool mechanic (m/w/d)

Mould making

Tasks

  • Work with hand-held tools (files, saws etc.)
  • Cut with manual and CNC-controlled machines (drilling, milling, lathing, grinding etc.)
  • Produce components using different processing methods
  • Manufacture, maintain, repair and mount injection-moulding tools
  • Handle raw, auxiliary and process materials
  • Comply with safety, health, accident-prevention and environmental-protection regulations

Requirements

With good school-leaving marks, you can get started training as a tool mechanic with us. You’ll be working in a technical profession. Skilled craftsmanship and technical understanding are essential qualities here. Reliability, the ability to work on a team, commitment, readiness to learn: they’re all important to making your way at our company. What else? Good computer skills and an affinity for mathematics and the natural sciences would be welcome. If this describes you, you can train as a tool mechanic with PKT.

Process mechanic (m/w/d)

  • Basics of metalworking
  • Work with hand-held machines and tools
  • Handle measurement, control and regulating equipment
  • Construct pneumatic circuits
  • Operate, monitor, control, service and maintain injection-moulding machines and peripheral systems
  • Handle raw, auxiliary and process materials
  • Quality testing

Requirements

Did you receive a school leaving certificate with good, or at least average, marks? Or attain a medium level of education? If so, come join us and train as a process mechanic. Naturally, technical careers require skilled craftsmanship and technical understanding. Reliability, the ability to work on a team, commitment and readiness to learn are also essential for successful training. Do you have good computer skills? Do you like maths and the natural sciences? If so, you have what it takes to become a process mechanic – a profession with a future and top career prospects.
