Tasks

  • Outfit and set up plastic injection-moulding machines and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor series production and perform quality and approval testing
  • Continuous optimisation of production processes, including fault analysis and troubleshooting
  • Operate and troubleshoot handling equipment
  • Service and maintenance tasks

Profile

  • Completed training as a process mechanic in plastics and rubber technology or comparable work experience
  • High quality awareness and reliability
  • Prepared to work three different shifts

Designer

Mould making

Tasks

  • Independently develop precision tools and complex tool concepts
  • Design injection-moulding tools, equipment and operating materials
  • Derive 2D drawings and create the production documentation
  • Technical coordination with the specialist departments
  • Create feasibility analyses and FMEAs
  • Perform filling simulations (in Moldflow Autodesk)
  • Create documentation and maintain master data
  • Further develop tool technologies
  • Identify and implement quality-improvement measures
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers

Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of plastics technology or precision or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in the development and design of injection-moulding tools
  • Sound knowledge of plastics technology (injection moulding, tool technology, materials knowledge etc.)
  • Confident in the use of 3D CAD systems, ideally Creo Direct Modelling
  • High organisational, methodical and social competency
  • Good spoken and written English

  • Comply with safety, health, accident-prevention and environmental-protection regulations

Requirements

With good school-leaving marks, you can get started training as a tool mechanic with us. You’ll be working in a technical profession. Skilled craftsmanship and technical understanding are essential qualities here. Reliability, the ability to work on a team, commitment, readiness to learn: they’re all important to making your way at our company. What else?
